Recently purchased our dream retirement home on a canal with a jetty and pontoon.
The pontoon was in a state of much-needed maintenance and I was referred to Micks Marine Maintenance. Made the phone call and was the best thing I could have done.
Mick and Tracy actually called the same afternoon, inspected the system and then took the time to explain what was required and also advise on the condition of the jetty and pontoon. Explained we would be purchasing a runabout in the near future and Mick was more than happy to offer his suggestions on how to moor and care for the boat.
Quote for necessary work arrived the next day, the cost was certainly reasonable so authorised straight away. Mick ordered the materials required immediately and within a week the work was all done.
Stripped and disposed of the old covering then cleaned the pontoon frame, gangway and platform. Scrubbed the deck and then applied two coats of timber stain to the gangway. New carpet laid on the pontoon and a profender added to protect the soon to be acquired boat.
The result is fantastic, couldn’t be more pleased. Any further work I may ever need and Mick will be my first call. I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending Micks Marine Maintenance to anyone who requires any maintenance at all on their existing structures.
